In Greece, no driver's license is typically required to operate an electric scooter designed for people with mobility issues. These scooters are considered "small vehicles" that do not require a specific license since they are not classified as cars or motorcycles.
Are there any special offers or discounts for long-term rentals?

- Special Packages: Additional services, such as maintenance or technical support at a reduced price, special discounts, or rewards programs.
How can I acquire an electric scooter or wheelchair through EOPYY (Greek National Health Service)?
- Search for equipment : Visit the EOPYY website to view the list of available Electric Scooters or Wheelchairs.
- Obtain a medical prescription : Ask your doctor for an electronic prescription (ΕΚΠΥ Benefits Prescription) for the equipment you need. Have the prescription validated by a supervising physician at IKA or a public hospital.
- Submit documents : Bring the validated prescription and photocopies of your health insurance booklet to Biomed.
- Receive the equipment : Once the documents are correct, Biomed will send the equipment to you or you can pick it up from our premises. If there is a copayment, you will first need to pay that amount. Biomed will handle the remainder through your insurance fund.
