Customer Identification
The codes used for your identification are two: the Username and the Personal Security Password, which provide you with secure access to your personal data every time you enter them. You can change your Personal Security Password as often as you wish. The only person who has access to your information is you through the above codes, and you are solely responsible for maintaining its confidentiality from third parties. In case of loss or leakage, you should notify us immediately; otherwise, the COMPANY's store is not responsible for the use of the secret code by unauthorized persons. The COMPANY's online store does not disclose or publish your personal data and the information you trust us with. The personal data you provide us upon registration as a member is used exclusively for executing your transactions. All information is encrypted and securely stored.
Ensuring the Privacy of Your Personal Data Transmission
To ensure the confidentiality of data transmission, we use the SSL-128bit encryption protocol. The eCommerce – Redirect service facilitates transactions carried out by online stores through the winbank PayCenter electronic system of Piraeus Bank. The web server hosting the eCommerce – Redirect service operates with 128-bit SSL encryption (Secure Socket Layer). By using the SSL protocol, it is ensured that all information transmitted between the client (user's web browser) and server (winbank PayCenter) is encrypted and cannot be intercepted. To complete their purchase, customers of the online store are directed to the secure site of winbank PayCenter, where they enter their credit card details. The customer's credit card information is not sent back to the merchant. Installing an SSL server certificate in the merchant's online store is not mandatory for ensuring electronic payment. However, for the security of the store itself, its use is recommended on the store's eCommerce site.
Login Codes (Username) & Security (Password)
To access the COMPANY's online store, you use two codes: the Username and the Personal Security Password. The COMPANY's online store allows you to change your Personal Security Password as often as you wish. For security reasons, we recommend changing your password regularly and avoiding the use of the same codes.
Personal Data - Transaction Confidentiality
User information (name, profession, email address, residence address, etc.) and transaction details of users of the online store are considered confidential, just like in regular transactions at a retail store. Users providing their data during transactions will be informed by the COMPANY and consent to the processing of this personal data for the smooth execution of transactions between the parties. Additionally, it is disclosed that there is a right of access and the right to object under Articles 12 and 13 of Law 2472/1997. It is assured that only authorized employees have access to transaction information, and only when necessary, e.g., for processing orders. Otherwise, the COMPANY is committed not to disclose customer information and their transactions unless written authorization is obtained from them or this is required by a court order or decision from another public authority. The personal data provided in the online store under the BIOMED trademark is used exclusively by it or collaborating businesses for the purpose of supporting, promoting, and executing the transactional relationship. All documents and electronic information exchanged between the parties during the sale will be maintained by the COMPANY. The customer may access them if desired.
