Atrauman Ag is a professional wound dressing with silver ointment, designed for the treatment of superficial wounds (affecting the upper layers of skin or tissue) and for protection against infections.
The dressing is made from hydrophobic polyamide mesh, which is infused with silver. This silver has antimicrobial properties against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
When the silver comes into contact with the wound, it creates a microbiologically active environment that combats bacteria for up to 7 days.
It is impregnated with a neutral ointment, free from additional vaseline or paraffins, and provides high absorption for exudates.
The dressing does not stick to the wound, ensuring painless removal and comfortable application.
