Indications
Prontosan® Wound Irrigation Solution is used for the care of:
- Traumatic wounds
- Post-surgical wounds
- Chronic ulcers (e.g., venous, diabetic, pressure ulcers)
- Burns of the 1st and 2nd degree
Directions for Use
Rinse the wound thoroughly with Prontosan® Wound Irrigation Solution. Then, soak sterile gauze pads in the solution and apply them to the wound for 20 minutes. Finally, cover the area with a pressure ulcer dressing or an adhesive gauze.
